TechTV is a TV channel over here that is basically like 24/7 geek television. Product reviews, game reviews, and tech support.
I signed the petition, but I wish they had speel checked it before sending it to them.

Well, there was a really good thread going on in here about linux firewalls and firewall applications that got deleted by mistake (mine, sorry) I just wanted to try and get the info rolling again.
A few that I like:
guarddog http://www.simonzone.com/software/guarddog/
fwbuilder http://www.fwbuilder.org/
again my apologies to whomever had started that thread.

also a debugger. that way, when your code goes to compile and an error pops up, kylix will tell you where the error is, so you don't have to sift through a thousand lines of code looking for the one damn semi colon you left out. (as i would have been doing had i not had kylix last night. nothing like waiting til the last possible minute to do an assignment I had a week to do.)

Installing KDE3
in Installing Mandriva

There's a config file you need to edit that will let you bring up KDE3. I think its in /(whereever kde is installed)/apps/kdm/kdmrc. If you bring that up, you will see where there are a bunch of window managers listed. just change the KDE to a KDE3 and you'll be able to get into kde3. Sorry its so vague, I'm at work in front of an XP box. When I get home I'll check for sure.
here are some other things you may want to check into in the mean time:
