Every time I start the PC I see a graphic login interface, but there is no option to choose between Fluxbox or KDE or wathever. I did what Steve said and now I'm with Fluxbox. Thanks.

I'm not using autologon. But I can't see the option to choice between KDE and Fluxbox

I frist execute "init 3" in Konsole. Then I tried with "fluxbox" and then with "startfluxbox". Both gave me the same error. If I run "startx" loads KDE. Where is that login-manager arctic?

I just installed Fluxbox from Mandriva DVD. But every time I want to start it says "Couldn't connect to XServer" Should I do something else before installing it?

If I use Fluxbox keeping KDE installed, my system will run faster or is the same?

I want to try Fluxbox, but I have some doubts about it, because I don't know how much my system depends on KDE. If I install Fluxbox, does this affect sound, video or any program installed before? I'm going to have trouble with RPM or some software? Thanks

I have downloaded a driver from the ATI's page, but it has a .run extension, and I don't know how to run it.

I have just changed the permission, and now the file is green. But I'm still can't see the plugin. If I run the program through Konsole I can see this messages: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: no se puede abrir el fichero del objeto compartido: No existe el fichero o el directorio Says that cannot load the file from the shared object, because it doesn't exist. Can this affect to the plugin? EDIT: YES!!, I just installed this library and now I can listen VQF Thanks for the help.

I have copied the libvqf.so to the Input folder, but I can't see it into preferences (look at the snapshots) Plugins Preferences Is there any other path where the files should be? Thanks.

Opera 9 is the choice. Now comes with an embedded BitTorrent client, which makes torrents downloads looks like any other transfer. Very good.

Well, I have downloaded the VQF plugin for XMMS. My question is, this plugin goes in General folder plugin? Because I copied there but I'm unable to see it into XMMS Preferences.

Because I have it a VQF plugin. And XMMS doesn't work correctly. I have downloaded the last version but it seems to be an gtk problem.

When I try to run Winamp with Wine it prompts a message asking me to download an ActiveX component for Mozilla. In this URL: http://www.winehq.com/hypermail/wine-patch...04/02/0176.html is a link to http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/mozilla.htm But all the downloads are EXE files and I can't install them with Wine. Does anyone solved this yet?

Well, if i run the command "amule" it says that is not possible run that. And there is no amule folder or file inside /usr/bin/ I don't know what to do, because if I run the RPM appears a window saying that the package is going to install. I click "Install" and type my root password. The next window is a warning saying that can't access the file "hdlist" from <<update_source>> :mellow: After that appears a progress bar, when finish, a "Installation complete" messages appear.
