Hi the problem is, i am on dial-up ...applications are a pain to download through these updates, i had so many problems with yum and apt with FC, thats why i rather download rpms, makes it easier....

Can i please get a link for the latest firefox...in .rpm, cause i do not know what to do with .src.rpm files yet.

When i was using FC, i was using KDE not GNOME....

Hi ive searched some repositories for :

- firefox (latest one) but can only find ones for fedora core...where can i find one for 10.2

also, is ther a program that can act as a download manager similar to flashget with XP ?

In addition, how do you unistall program you have installed???

Hi guys just moved into mandriva...got a bit fed up with fedora...however every distro has its pros and cons...

a pro that fedore has that mand. doesnt seem to have is the abilty to open a terminal window through the right-click menu...

Is there a way i can do it???

Just moved into mandriva; looks funky feels a bit weird...but hey...xp is FUD too...

Here's my problem, i was wondering how can i set an ICS connections (Internet Sharing Connection); cause i have a dial-up connection and another computer connected via a cross-over cable...so in theory my computer is the router...In windows it was a breeze to setup and share my internet connection via a wizard; for some reason i am struggling to do it in Mandriva....

What can i do???
