nope, don't have a mozilla directory

progress yes! lol... the problem was to change directories I was typing "ls" and not "cd" lol... stupid me, it's like irc dcc sessions.... ok... well.. I press enter and it says to enter a valid installation path... I think it's because I use Konqueror so where is the installation path of Konqueror?

ok it's asking me for the installation path of my browser... but I don't know how to tell it where it is, I don't know what to type to tell it it's in ext2

yes, but that doesn't matter cause I can't even get in the desktop dir for some reason, anyway, I'm gonna go eat i'll be back later... sorry for being such a newb :P

I know that.. but if I type ls Desktop/flash then press enter then type ./flashplayer-intaller it doesn't do anything... if I type dir after typing ls Desktop/flash it shows me as if I'm still in the home directory it'll say Desktop TMP and if I type ls Desktop then type ls flash to go in the flash directory it will just say no such file or directory..

I want to do it from the command line... this is what I do I click on the little computer screen in the taskbar called terminal program and then once in there I type su root then I enter the password then I type ls Desktop/flash/flashplayer-installer it acknowledges that it's there but it just doesn't do anything

I'm trying to install flash from the command line... the folder is on my desktop so I navigate there by typing ls Desktop/flash this bring me in the directory and then I type this, witch is what it tells me to type in the readme once in the directory flashplayer-installer and nothing happens

are there any torrent programs for linux?

with windows it used my pci... but linux uses my built in sound card and I want to use my sound blaster pci... how do I go about doing this? thanks :P

oh, and do you also know how I can access my fat32 partition and play mp3s?

so then I'll have my fat32 partition and then my swap partition and then my Ext2 partition right?

partition magic is automaticly putting it to EXT2 so I should change it to EXT3? and I will still be using windows, I want to save all my files and stuff from linux on thi partition(fat32) so I can still access some of them on windows... so 99gigs would wrong for this EXT3 partition right?

alright, so how big should I make the other partition? oh and I'm using partition magic for this... what's the difference between primary and logical?

So if I convert the partition to FAT32 I can read and right to it? that's sweet, I'll do it right now, lol

the HD that I want to partition is 160 gigs... I have 100 free and I have 1534mb of ram so that's 3.068 gigs for the swap partition right?

How big should I make my linux partition?
