I just got my apache server running good on Madriva 2005 and after restarting trying to access the site now ends up in a 403: Forbidden Message. Can someone tell me what I screwed up?

I'm new to Apache I just got it on a system running Mandrake Le 2005. My problem so far is that when I try to connect to the computer's IP over my home network the connection keeps timing out. I checked and the httpd service is running I'm just not to sure what to check next. Also I can access the site through the computer it is hosted on by putting in the IP, but no other PCs on the network can connect to it.

It's a ATI Mach 64 card using a Vitascan 5000 monitor. However though using vesa worked great thanks for the help.

Well the problem went away when I jammed it into 640x480 resolution but now I'm stuck with a huge screen.

I can't figure out what to change, the graphics card is right, the monitor is right i dunno what could be wrong.

I just recently installed Mandriva LE 2005 on a computer of mine and when I load up the graphical interface to log into KDE the picture becomes a mess. The picture looks all cross-eyed and what not. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what to do about this. [moved from Software by spinynorman]

I'm having a problem with Firefox and the JRE plug-in. I have the JRE plugin installed but yet when I go to something like Yahoo games its says plugin needed and brings up the prompt to install JRE. Why is this happening and how do I fix this?

Im running LE2005 and i was wondering if there was a way to get it to startup and shutdown in verbose mode instead of hitting esc at the boot screen? [moved from Tips & Tricks by spinynorman]

I recently installed Mandriva LE 2005 on my computer and now cannot use smb4k. It worked fine while Mandrake 10.0 was installed but since the switch it no longer even brings up a workgroup can anyone tell me what's wrong?

I'm having a problem, I'm trying to install a newer version on Mandrake on a Dell Inspiron 1000. So far 10.0 Community Edition has ran perfect on it but when I try to install 10.1 Official (by clean install or upgrade) upon loading into KDE the screen goes blank and stays that way. I was wondering if anyone could give me any info about what to do.
