  1. hey i am running mandriva le 2005...i have an ati raedon 9000 pro video card and i was noticing how much it was lagging i was wondering if i install newer drivers would this help? also what should i do before installing th rpm? i got one off of www.ati.com its fglrx_6_8_0-8.12.10-1.i386.rpm is this the right one?
  2. thank you so much! i got a wireless pci card yesterday and should either get my router today or tommorow.My card works great w/ linux its a d-link dwl-g510 i suggest it to everyone.Where is the best place on the internet for urpmi for mandrake se 2005?
  3. well i found out i dont have libkdecore4-devel installed.... but when i try to install the individual rpm (i have no internet connection on that comp) i get this error:some packages cannot be installed libkdecore4-devel-3.3.2-123mdk.i586(due to unsatisfied devel (libvorbis))
  4. um im trying to compile ksensors,kcpuspeed, and wlassistant do i look for the files that contain the words libkde in rpmdrake? because there arent anymore devel packages i can install

  7. ive been looking for drivers for my dell truemobile 1300 wireless usb adapter and i cant find any has anyone gotten this wireless adapter to work with mandriva 10.2?

Iam using mandriva 10.2 and kde 3.3........ when trying to configure programs in konsole i get this error checking for KDE... configure: error: in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail. So, check this please and use another prefix! ive tried: cd /usr/local ln -s /usr/kde/3.3/ kde to no avail....also export KDEDIR=/usr/kde/3.3 to no avail also help!!!   10. ok i know im jumping back and forth i just dont want to annoy people by adding another post.......i have the rpms and im trying to update them through a cd you said to do it through local files but it doesnt say i can get it through the cd please help
  11. also how do i download multiple files at once is there a program to do it?Because i am downloading the rpms and i want them all to display in one download i am using mozilla firefox(found 1=downloadstudio)
  12. ok i installed gnome and i was able to run alsaconf and setup my card in kde but it doesnt recognize it in kmix but it works
  13. i ve tried run sndconfig and set up my isa card but it doesnt recgonize it and then i choose it on the list and it trys to paly the sound but it comes up with error opening /dev/audio/. Before it was able to recognize it but i reinstalled the whole os im running mandrake 10.1 kde 3.2 also is there away to update you urpmi through cd? i dont have an internet connection.
