derxen
Hello all, I've switched from gnome to xfce, and I love it. I can recommend it to anyone who likes Gnome, but wants something leaner and quicker. The only thing I can't figure out is how to set default applications for xfce. For example, how do I make sure that firefox is opened when I click on a link in thunderbird? derxen Edited November 27, 2004 by derxen
bvc
last time I tried xfce they were set by gnome gconf-editor and/or gnome-default-applications-properties
derxen
Thanks bvc, it worked. First I tried via gnome-default-applications-properties, but that refuses to accept any changes for some reason. Gconf-editor worked. derxen
