Guest st3w4rt Posted December 2, 2007 Report Share Posted December 2, 2007 Hi all, I am pretty new to Mandriva 2008. I have installed it and everything seemed to working just fine. After I updated the system I have a number of problems, the keyboard only one of them. When I open any application and try to type nothing happens. ie in firefox can't type in the address bar/searchg boxes... Konsole... nothing, Konversation,,, nothing, I'm sure you get the picture. There is some strange behaviour regarding the windows, there is no bar at the top of the window with the minimise, restore and close buttons. I followed your instructions and I now have the ability to type and the buttons are back. Does this mean I will not be able to use the 3D desktop again?
