linux_jester
I'm using Mozilla 1.4 under MDK 9.2, is there a way of spoofing the browser identification to fool some sites into thinking that you're using another browser like I.E 6. I know this is easy to do in Konqueror but I've not seen it here. Can anyone help? Thanks.
iphitus
I know this is possible with mozilla firebird, which i highly reccomend. It is also possible with Mozilla. THere was a thread on this not long ago, try some searches of the board
chris z
go to http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/#uabar install the user agent tool bar & addons for your browser version & os. it'll let you spoof MSIE & several other browser id strings. roland
there was a dicussion on the matter there http://www.mandrakeusers.org/index.php?showtopic=8037 I concluded that it's possible but: better not let your mozilla identifie as IE all the time. roland
