Hi, i bougth a new laptopt gateway nv9, intel core i3. It has an new intel arrandale video card. I have installed mandriva one, and i spend two days trying to configure my screen without results. The only driver xorg that works with my card is vesa but at low resolution, if i use a intel of xorg, the computer go blank and i need to edit manually my xorg file in order to restore my machine. I'm really new in mandriva, yet i have tried many methods to solve it .

First i have tried ubuntu 9.10 and in a certain moment the video works fine, even with two monitors, but i cant remember what i did, because i was copying a lot o code from the forums.

Could somebody guide me, thank you! If you need more information about my files or hardware just let me know.
