dfex
Hi ... I'm a linux beginner and got a problem (haha *g*): I have installed the iso-download version of Mandrake 9.2 with all available online updates. Then i tried to install this KDE Skin: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=7559 initialy it seems to work: ./configure; make; make install (as root) completed successful, but KDE does not recognize the new skin. The configure script has a param: --prefix= where you can point to the KDE dir. I tried /usr/lib/kde3 (i don't have to mention that this didn't work too ;)). any ideas? thx, mb // sorry for my bad english ..
pmpatrick
Where did the theme install to? You have to know this to add the theme. You do so by opening kde control center>look and feel>theme manager and ticking the "add" button then navigating to the location where the theme is you want to add. Once added you can select it in theme manager.
mdg
There's a rpm package for 9.2 here. It should be easier to work with

devries
Try ./configure --prefix=/usr. That should do it.
