Pierre Posted November 1, 2003 Report Share Posted November 1, 2003 Moved my working Mdk 9.1/KDE to new MB with different sound chip (CMI 8738). The sound works after reconfiguration but AlsaMixer returns following error "Function snd_ctl_open failed....." Removed alsamixergui and reinstalled but still does nor work.
