Installing 8.2 with USB keyboard and mouse

I am new to Linux. I just purchased a copy of Man 8.2 in August. I set up may computer to boot from the CD, which it does. It starts loading the program until it gets to the Graphics portion of the program where I have to make selection. My system utilizes a USB Keyboard and Mouse. Up until this point, my mouse and keyboard work and then when it gets to this point, neither my mouse or keyboard work. What do I need to do to get my USB keyboard and mouse to work during the installation.

Thanks

I had the exact same problem, except that I only had a USB keyboard(not mouse, that was PS/2).

What I needed to do(although not an ideal solution by any means) was to hook up a PS/2 keyboard at the same time as the USB one. I had two keyboards hooked up at once. Once I had finished the install with both hooked up(and using the PS/2 one to do the installation) I turned off the system and unplugged the PS/2 keyboard and all was well.

That's the only help I can give, sorry if it doesn't help.
