Guest BillB
Downloaded MCNLive Toronto ISO, followed the instructions and got everything on to an 8Gb flash drive. When I boot it in the laptop it asks for a root password at the bottom and when I give "boot" as instructed, I am told that it could not find the kernel and goes ahead and loads me as a "guest". When I go to do anything that requires root privileges, nothing works as it will not accept "boot" as the answer to its needs. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. This system maybe dating itself a bit but it was so easy to install. :) Thank you, Bill.
AussieJohn
I think you will find that it should be "root" and NOT "boot". It certainly has been on any liveCD I have seen and used. Hope this helps. Cheers. John.
