tschwenke Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 When I log in, eventually I will get a prompt that says: "The password you typed is invalid. Please try again." The only thing I have done is log into my user account. When I go to System Monitor it appears the the prompt is tied to consolehelper -g that is running as me and is linked to mdkapplet. From what I can tell this is part of the update notifier... I can understand needed the elevated privledges to run the updates but it almost appears like doing the check is even making it ask.
