Guest bhrich902
im thinking of installing freebsd on a box that has mandrake in hda2, and hda3 which plan to install freebsd. just wanted to know if anyone has done this cause i want to be able to dual boot and want to know what the lilo entry for frebsd should look like and should i do it before installing freebsd or should i just let freebsd handle the dual booting. thx... Leo
I also looked at this and there was a piece in the installation documentation for FreeBSD all about dual booting. I had trouble locating it for you but some of it is here The main points as I remember them are to ensure FreeBSD is installed on a primary partition and that you will be given the option of replacing the boot loader or appending to the existing one. Sorry I can't be more help
