thelorax
Hi, Since my harddrive just died :( I have just done a fresh install of Mandrake 9.0 and eveything works except mozilla or firebird. This is mozilla 1.4 or 1.5 and firebird .6. All of them freeze as soon as I click in the address bar. If I just click on links on a webpage, i.e the default start page then they work fine. But one click in the address bar and they freeze solid and I have to kill them. Both complained on launch of not being able to find libmozjs.so, even though it is in the directory. I tried linking that to/usr/lib and that allowed them to launch. Mozilla 1.1 works fine, but I don't want to be without firebird. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as its got me well and truly stumped. thanks
sud_crow
I had those issues with 1.4 but when typing not when clicking. What i was told to do was to disable "Find text as you type in a web page" in the Keyboard Navigation over the Advanced tab in the Preferences. Hope it helps, good luck-

thelorax
Yup I'm using 0.71 and to be honest I can't tell the difference between it and 0.6. Mind you I never had any problems with 0.6 it always worked perfectly for me. Thanks again.
