Guest jkcavenaugh
I installed wine... but something's wrong. I'm going to paste a lot of text due to my ignorance in knowing what's important. I'm going to present 2 scenarios. First: When I specify in the config to use my other partition windows XP install I get the following error when I run wine: Could not stat /home/james/.wine/${HOME} (No such file or directory), ignoring drive G: Warning: could not find wine config [Drive x] entry for current working directory /home/james/Documents/wine-20031016/tools; starting in windows directory. Warning: access to temporary directory '/mnt/win_d/temp' failed (Read-only file system). When you are running with a native NT directory specify 'Profile=<profiledirectory>' or disable loading of Windows registry (LoadWindowsRegistryFiles=N) Wine 20031016 Second: When I specify to use a clean install w/ a dummy windows partition, I get the following: Could not stat /mnt/fd0 (No such file or directory), ignoring drive A: Could not stat /cdrom (No such file or directory), ignoring drive D: Wine 20031016 Do I need to set options when I execute wine from the command line? Thanks in advance for any help provided!
