Guest iMonkey
# # Tftp service is provided primarily for booting. Most sites # run this only on machines acting as "boot servers." Do not uncomment # this unless you *need* it. # tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /tftpboot in.tftpd I am trying to get a TFTP server running on Redhat 6.2 the above is the TFTP section of the inetd.conf file. I think that the server is running OK but the problem seems to be that if I copy a config from a Cisco router to TFTP: and specifiy the IP address of the redhat box it ticks away i.e. .... and then but then comes back with an error message saying: %Error opening tftp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/routername-confg (Timed out) Is there any way around this? Any help is much appreciated
