Peep
I can't remember from 9.1, but i just installed 9.2rc2 on another partition and allowed it to do the default for everything. Upon rebooting, I have a pretty-well functioning system, but not a single terminal program! (no konsole, xterm, gnome-terminal, nothing). why would it even allow you to install without one?? I suppose you could exit X and get a prompt that way, but that seems a bit extreme.
mdg
I also did a default package selection, but I ended up with konsole and Xterm. Strange you got no terminals. Anyway, that's what urpmi is for :D
bvc
I did an expert install>Individual Pkg Selection and was shocked to find I had to select xterm   I didn't install kde, just gnome and gnome-terminal was there without selecting it at install (I don't recall seeing it at install).
