virtualspy Posted October 8, 2003 Report Share Posted October 8, 2003 I'm running a sliMP3 server to stream my MP3's, and the file permissions keep reverting back after I grant all users permission. I created a path called /home/public should I configure another place for it (other than inside HOME)? Is there something about the HOME directory that security gets periodically enforced? By the way, when it does work, the sliMP3 is a terrific way to listen to MP3s from around the house or anywhere with broadband access. I haven't tried it with slow connection yet.
