Tuxiscool Posted September 22, 2003 Report Share Posted September 22, 2003 when i try to compile rosegarden i get this error /usr//bin/ld: cannot find -laudio collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [libRosegardenSequencer.la] Error 1 does anyone know how to fix this? Glitz Posted September 23, 2003 Report Share Posted September 23, 2003 You need to instal some package from the Mandrake CDs that contains the audio library. Glitz Posted September 23, 2003 Report Share Posted September 23, 2003 Try installing the package for nas the network audio system. That contains libaudio.so.2. If you have any more dependency problems regarding Rosegarden then have a look at this page: http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/cooker/contri...9-1mdk.ppc.html Simply click on any of the requires links to find a package containing the required file. I know this is the PPC version of cooker but I could swear that I installed nas when I compiled Rosegarden. Nas should be on the Mandrake CDs. Glitz.
