sgroy
I am new with this and was wondering if Spamassassin worked to eweed out spam on a regular pop3 email account with an isp.. I am getting tons of spam, and junk mail, and was looking at what programs were available for this.. I just use Mozilla Email with my ISP and would like the junk and spam to be deleted before it ever gets to me.. Ideas anyone

frosterrj
you might try using it with Evolution. I dont use it myself, but many do quite effectively, and it's pretty easy to get it and Evolution to work together. Just use a filter called "pipe message to shell command", put in the path to spamassassin, and a rule to put all '1' 's into trash and everything else into your inbox. robert
