Guest SDMF
Are there any good applications to capture video overlay?
qeldroma
Do you only want a "screenshot" or to capture a film? For screenshot, the additional apps like kscreenshot or gimp wont work. Xine's got a screenshot button, perhaps all others, too. For video-capturing, no idea.
Guest SDMF
just a screenshot.
qeldroma
So, WHICH applikations??
Guest SDMF
Well, MPlayer is the only one so far. I looked through the man page, and didn't find anything (though I could have passed it up, there are 2000+ lines in its man page).
qeldroma
I looked on the net, the manpage and the screenshots, maybe i'd have to agree concerning MPlayer. Wondering about the people, showing their screenshots, maybe they turned software rendering on, lowsy speed, but should work. Then i think, the only way is to use xine, or maybe ogle, not sure about ogle to make screenshots, i use xine. If you got LM9, you just have to install the "texstar" rpm's for xine, they do all necessary to play encrypted DVD. The DMD-plugin includes menues, the d4d/d5d not, but they depend on different plugin-handling for encryption, so if DMD does not work, try one of the others. My experience is, that most films work with DMD.
