Guest EBauman
HI, I just got an Acer Aspire One. I installed Mandriva 2009, and have been really pleased with it. So far, everything has worked great, except that the browser seems really slow to display some pages. It might sit there displaying "Looking up XXXXXX" for 5 to 10 seconds, and then continue - sometimes multiple times per page. It does it both with the wireless connection and a direct ethernet connection. I saw this behavior once before wtih another computer using a different distribution, and never figured it out then either - I just stoped using it. I really want to keep Mandiva on the AAO since everything else works so well. I saw that a similar topic was discussed a while back, and I tried what was suggested, but it didn't help. Any ideas? Thnx.
