Guest SDMF
I just reinstalled MDK9, and when I went back and compiled the source and installed MPlayer, I get audio, but there is no video, and the very top of the screen gets distorted. I took a screenshot, here's the link. http://www.students.niu.edu/~z019751/mplayer.png I uninstalled the pre8 version, and downloaded the source for the pre9 version, and installed that, too, but the same thing happened. Anyone seen this before?
Guest SDMF
I looked at the command-line output from running MPlayer, this is what I got. Guest SDMF
Nevermind. When reading back through the README file, I read that the XFree86-devel package had to be installed for there to be X11 support (duh). I opened rpmdrake and, sure enough, it wasn't installed. Must have overlooked that when selecting packages to install. It works fine now.
