Guest SpaceCadet
Anyone know of a program where you can cut up an MP3 so that you can have certain clips of music, most of my songs, being trance, are up to 2 hours long for one song, and I would like to compile my own mixes using some of the music clips from these MP3's. Also, if anyone knows of a compiler where I could mix my clips together.. that would be PHAT. Thanks!
tyme
this may work: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ not sure if it handles MP3's, but you could always export them to wav's with XMMS, cut them and then re-encode them with lame (or oggenc to use the open encoding standard known as ogg :) ).... Guest SpaceCadet
k.. that's cool. I installed audacity but my songs are so long that when I import the mp3 into the program.. it takes about 5 minutes and then near the very end the whole thing just crashes. I"m using their latest version. I tried to install their previous version but I had allready installed the latest version so all the dependencies for that prog were allready too far up to date :(
ezroller
are you installing from a mandrkae rpm, or from the source?
Guest SpaceCadet
mandrake rpm. I have updated mandrake to pull the sources from the internet. Someone in #mandrake chat on irc.undernet.org told me how to do it hehe :D
