SoulSe Posted August 2, 2003 Report Share Posted August 2, 2003 This is going to generate some laughter and plenty of criticisation. I don't want to go into a disussion about WineX, please. I wanted to play Diablo II again, didn't want to install Windows and hadn't really tried WineX before. So I got WineX and installed it and then Diablo II and then the expansion pack. But it is slooooow. It isn't a rendering problem, I know that much, besides, my native games run fine (like quake or UT). I played Diablo II on this mahine before, when it was running Windows, and the speed was fine. Any ideas? It seems to be the same for other games. SoulSe Posted August 2, 2003 Author Report Share Posted August 2, 2003 Ok, so I managed to run D2Vidtest and swithed to 2d, which fixed the speed, but isn't the 1st price fix.
