Dyslexic
I rebooted last night only to find that KDM was broken. KDM starts as it normally does, and everything looks fine. However, when I log in, I get a bash prompt within KDM instead of it loading a window manager. None of the window managers will load; they all bring me to a bash prompt. Mdkkdm does the same thing. I switched to GDM, which works perfectly, but I'd rather use KDM. Since GDM works, I know that everying in /etc/X11/wmsession.d/ is fine. I suspect that there's a problem in my kdmrc, but everything looks ok. Any ideas? I'll post my kdmrc if anyone thinks it will help. I'm running Mdk 9.1 with kernel-2.4.21.0.25mdk, Mdk 9.1's Gnome 2.2, Texstar's KDE 3.1.2.
Dyslexic
OK, I fixed the problem. Something in my kdmrc file was fux0r3d; I'm not sure what. I copied the kdmrc file from another machine saving only the old "SessionTypes" line, and now everything works just fine. Sorry about posting unnecessarily. At least this might help someone in the future.

Dyslexic
Here's a copy of the /usr/share/config/kdm/kdmrc file. You'll need to change the "sessiontypes" line to include the window managers that you have installed.
