Guest oddboy
I try to use apache/php in my mandrake9.1 . I use the rpm admin tool to install it and type http://localhost to see it works. But I can't find the /usr/local/apache directory and totally no idea to find the htdocs directory inside it after searching for a long time. I can see it uses advx.org 's Advanced Extranet Server which is also for me as a newbie. Can anyone show the the location of the "htdocs" if it still uses the same name in this advx apache. Thank you.
qnr
I'm not using Mandrake - mine is in /usr/share/httpd/ Perhaps locate, or slocate might help: terry@timestorm: /home/terry 18:12:21 $ locate htdocs/index.html /usr/share/httpd/htdocs/index.html
Dyslexic
Mandrake doesn't call it "htdocs" The default document root for Apache on Mandrake is /var/www/html/
