jlc
Don't know if a lot of people have heard or used this before, but I thought I would post some good reading material, the first link on the third pages tells how you can get the .rpm's and .deb's. http://www.linuxplanet.com/linuxplanet/tut...torials/4712/1/ http://www.linuxplanet.com/linuxplanet/reports/4719/1/ In theory, very interesting. When I get a chance I will have to give it a run. Anyone out there using UML?

qnr
I tried it about 18 months ago. It was interesting. When you think about it though, whenever you go into a chrooted environment, you're pretty much doing the same thing, with the exception of the fact that you're not running a different kernel. iphitus
From my understanding of this thing, i think it'd be a good thing for a LFS, although i still don't quite get it.

qnr
Yes it is. My real point, until I was distracted locally, was that you shouldn't be afraid to give it a try, especially if you've ever played around in a chrooted environment - it's not that difficult, and it's not going to mess up your current distro.
