Guest ions
[christopher@x1-6-00-80-c8-dd-4c-f6 christopher]$ opera opera: [java] Disabling java due to potential problems. If you know what you are doing, you can set the environment variable OPERA_FORCE_JAVA_ENABLED to '1' to override this. Start Opera with '-debugjava' argument for more information. opera: Could not initialize M2: Store Init failed opera: Could not initialize M2: Engine Init() failed I had just re-installed Mandrake 9.1 to deal with a few problems that didn't seem sto have any other solution other than a full re-install. So I saved my .opera file and copied it over the new install of opera. Afterwhich M2 has failed to start as shown by the error above. All my Bookmarks and contacts were saved though. ezroller
I had this same exact problem. I eventually grabbed the tarball and built it myself. try that. it may give you better error messages at least than rpm's will. If you need help...ask!
