Guest jwl Posted October 25, 2002 Report Share Posted October 25, 2002 OK, there is some repeatable weirdness (bug?) on my machine: Whenever I reboot the machine (unfortunately I still have to use Windows for pro audio recording), and log into X for the first time, all the fonts appear smaller, almost like 75dpi rather than 100dpi or something. But, if I restart X, then the fonts look OK. I do not have to start KDE or GNOME or any other WM; if I restart X from the KDM login screen right after a reboot the fonts look OK.
