Setlec
Hey folks it's me again.... So while trying to resolve my input/output error in the other thread here is my newest headache... I've installed Lm_sensors3-3.0.1 but i would like to know how to call it with kde without access in the terminal.... Ksensord works with lm_sensors 2.10.X. . thanks in advance
liquidzoo
You could always call it with the run command window. Alt + F2 Although, I can't remember if it has a gui itself or if it feeds the data to another program. Been a long time since I've used it. AussieJohn
If you go into Menu.......Tools.....System Tools........ You will find ksensors But before doing that you need to open konsole type in su and enter then your root password. Type in...... sensors-detect... and press enter. Then just keep pressing enter to each step until it completes. You will need to reboot. When rebooted then open Ksensors and follow from there since it is now all gui. Cheers. John.
