shen
How would one go about setting KDE up in MDK 9.1 so that even in say Kmail or if you create a shortcutt on the desktop to a website that it uses say Mozilla or Firebird instead of Konqueror? Basically I want everything that needs to open a web page to load mozilla or firebird I personally don't like konqueror... Any help or direction appreciated..:)
Guest zinc
Hi, Goto: kmenu -> configuration -> control centre. under 'components' choose 'file associations' under 'text' find HTML, click on it. Under 'Application Preference Order' highlight your browser choice and click 'move up' until its top in the list. Then click the 'embedding' tab and select 'Show file in separate viewer'. Apply everything and then try clicking on a HTML file, the page should open in your choice of browser. This should work :), :o) zinc
