So what applications/games do you suggest for a very functional and entertaining desktop? Here are some of the ones I love using: Karamba (monitoring) Gkrellm (monitoring) Licq (online messaging - ICQ clone) OpenOffice (word-alike) Abiword (word-alike) Evolution (Email client - outlook-alike) LaTeX (publishing - AMAZING) XMMS (multimedia player - good for mpegs too) mPlayer (movie player) Anyone wants to follow with other suggestions? Hey tyme, can't you get karamba running under gnome if you have the kdelibs installed? I don't know the program myself, just wondering...
