shoegoo Posted July 23, 2003 Author Report Share Posted July 23, 2003 Yeah after some searching it seems the latest release of metacity is 2.44 or something, I compiled it from source just now, but I dont know how to replace the installed rpm with the binary I compiled. Just rpm -e --nodeps metacity (keep in mind there may be other deps that will not be uninstalled to find which ones use urpme metacity) then make install in the source tree. Make sure your compiled with ./configure --prefix=/usr To get to the bottom of things yes, the default on the cd's is better. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
