kephra
Firefox 2.0.0.11 is released. This release fixes a bug introduced by the 2.0.0.10 update in the <canvas> feature that affected some web pages and extensions. source: hup.hu I am using it, but there is no way to set it as the default browser. How do I do that? NEVER MIND, I found it. Thanks. Edited January 28, 2008 by kephra

kephra
For the record, “System Settings†-> “Default Applications†under kcontrol. Thanks. I wonder why the ability to set Firefox as default was taken out of the 'preferences' with Firefox itself. Its still in 2.0.0.11 in the version that came with Mac OSX. scarecrow
Because Linux is neither Windows, nor MACOSX (where you have to deal with just one desktop environment). Under Linux you have to set desktop-specific and distro-specific settings, and the multitude of them is rather huge.
