Hello!

I'm a Windows user and I play WoW/EVE Online

A friend of mine (MDV user) told me MDV is much faster etc than Windows,It plays WoW much better etc,

So I decided to give it a go..

I just downloaded and got an .iso file

I putted a cd in my cd burner(Hardware) and started my cd burner: Burn4free(software)What do I do now?

Second question:

Can my PC handle MDV?

Specs:

2.1 Ghz

512RAM

64Nvidia Video Card

thirth question:

Windows made my PC so slooow but I still want to keep EVE online and WoW

Can I keep these games and be able to play them without re-installing on MDV?

Thanks for youre time

Fury

An iso file is an image of a cdrom. So, it must be burned as an image. Do not copy the file, and do not unpack it. Most burning software burns images if you tell it to do so, including Nero. But the defaults are generally copy.

Your computer should be fine. Be sure to use the Nvidia proprietary drivers for youre video card.

Programs are different in different systems. Windows executables are not going to work in Linux, and Linux binaries do not work in windows. Games tha are good write binaries for Linux. Go to the game sight and find the Linux files.

Be sure to use the Nvidia proprietary drivers for youre video card.

In the event of audio problems, also try switching to the x.org "nv" driver. I had to do this for my GeForce 2MX card installed in Desktop 2, because the proprietary NVIDIA driver caused static in the audio whenever there was any type of video-related activity going on (window minimize/maximize or web page load/refresh) when a CD was also playing.
