Guest tslugmo
When I try to use Mandrake Update, and I select kdebase 3.1-83.3mdk, it tells me that because of dependencies, I must also select kdebase-devel-3.1-83.3mdk and kdebase-nsplugins-3.1-83.3mdk. However, when I say yes to this, it tells me that based on their dependencies, kdebase-devel-3.1-83.3mdk and kdebase-nsplugins-3.1-83.3mdk must be removed. I say yes to this, and all three packages are deselected. I've managed to install all other security fixes to 9.1 except these 3. Security fixes shouldn't conflict with each other, right? I mean, I should be installing all Security fixes, right? Is this just a bug and I should try to force it to install these three? Thanks, tslugmo
tyme
It sounds like a bug. You could always try downloading them to your hard drive by going directly to the ftp site and downloading them, instead of using mandrake update.
Guest ndeb
Obviously, its a bug. Please report it to mandrake bugzilla in https://qa.mandrakesoft.com/ . Its high time mandrake fixed these stupid and annoying bugs.
