peter2
I was wondering how can the last version of Nessus be installed in Mandriva 2007 Spring ? Since there's no version for mandriva...
scarecrow
Oh yes there is... It's the OSS version 2 (or to be more exact 2.2.8 for Mandriva 2007.1), and its present at the contrib repo. No idea about the closed source version 3 though. scarecrow
Since it's closed source it *may* not appear at all at the official repos. This is just a guess, adamw should surely know better.
peter2
i pm'd adamw but with no response...Could you pm him please ?
adamw
ah, I didn't see the thread when I replied via PM. it's correct that we don't have the closed source version in our repositories. You should just be able to download it from the website and install it, though. It seems to be a generic version which should work on any modern Linux distro, including Mandriva.
