I recently got a new laptop and got annoyed with the preloaded version of vista and considering its hard getting xp to format a sata hard drive, I decided to go ahead and give linux a try. I choose mandriva. But I'm in a situation. I can't figure out how to install the drivers for my wireless card so I can access the internet on it.

thats the model laptop I have. the wireless card I have is a Intel® PRO/Wireless 4965AGN and I have the iwlwifi and mac80211 files sitting extracted on the linux installed lapto (by burning from another computer and extracting the .tgz files)

I'm not all that linux suave can someone help me install this drivers so I can have internet on there so I don't have to keep borrowing someone elses computer?
