Boot problem

I successfully downloaded and burned a cd from iso file mandriva-linux-2007-spring-one-KDE-cdrom-i586.iso.

Problem is my system does not recognize it as a bootable disk.

I confirmed the download via md5.

I tried re-burning the cd at slower speed settings with no luck.

I am able to browse the cd without trouble:

Appears to have MDVCDROOT as a label

Contains two pdf readme files

Contains three folders (boot, isolinux, and loopbacks)

I read through the readme and confirmed my bios boot settings.

I’m probably missing something simple, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I built a Mepis cd with the same utility and it worked fine. I went back and tried the mandriva cd and after after a couple of attempts I was able to get it to boot up (although it complained about not being able to load cups printer but thats a problem for another day).

Thanks for the help
