Guest greeneggs
I have tried to install a number of really good games but I keep getting the following message... Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed) What does this mean and what can I do?. I'm running MDK 9.1 and believe I already have SDL installed since I have a game called LBreakout that requires SDL and runs perfectly. Thank you
Cannonfodder
Don't know much about the topic... SDL is Simple DirectMedia Layer. Do you have a joystick or other gaming devices hooked up while you are installing? If so, try unplugging them, restart, and try the install again, just see what happens... I'm reaching here so don't have a party yet :)
Guest ndeb
greeneggs, This is a common SDL error. It could be that the version of SDL supplied has bugs. The SDL cvs is in http://www.libsdl.org/cvs.php . Also, you could get the cooker source rpms from http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/cooker/co...6/Mandrake/RPMS and build from them using rpmbuild --rebuild file.srpm .
