VeeDubb
Okay, I've purchased a new WiFi card using a chipset which is verified to be linux compatible. I've downloaded and installed the kernel module driver for it, which is known to work well with my kernel. I did not encounter any errors. The module loads correctly when called by modprobe. The problem is that Mandriva 2k7 can't seem to figure out that the card in my computer adn the driver I installed go together. How do I tell Mandriva to use a psecific driver with a specific card? VeeDubb
Never mind. All the FAQs I read said it was a rt2500 chipset, turns out half of them are rt61. works fine, just needs a different driver.
