Guest greeneggs
Hi I am mostly a Mozilla user but I just downloaded NetScape v7.3 and installed it (mainly for the heck of it and to see if it was different even though I know it's based on Mozilla). I now want to uninstall it but I'm not quite sure how to go about uninstalling a non-RPM type of file like this. It came as a tar.gz file and after extracting it, I installed it from the terminal by simply typing... ./netscape-installer Any suggestions on how to do this are welcome - thank's
aru
There should be a readme file (or similar), and there should be explained howto uninstall netscape probably you'll need to run "make uninstall", but in any case you should look for that readme file.
