You could also try creating another user and trying to use Compiz as that user - this will tell us whether the problem is with Compiz as a whole or just with your specific user account. I get the follwoing message using kde, Compiz: Another window manger is already running on screen: 0 Compiz: No managable screens found on display :0.0 I have also tried another user and still have the same problem I now what to get it working with kde instead of gnome but I still get the above problem when running compiz in terminal I have set up the nvidia drivers and they are working compiz was installed with the mandriva 2007 powerpack thanks charlie Edited March 20, 2007 by Harriscat Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
