Guest retrac1324
Hi, I just installed Mandriva One 2007 [Gnome], and I have changed the resolution to a setting higher than my monitor can handle, therefor the screen is hidden and the monitor is blank. Is there any way I can change it before I log into Mandriva? [i can see the boot manager and use Windows XP on my other partition fine]. I am using a Dell 17" LCD Monitor with a 3DFuzion Nvidia Geforce 6200 PCI Graphics Card. Thanks, retrac1324 Edited January 18, 2007 by retrac1324
michaelcole
Once the computer starts up press ctrl alt F1 this will give you a terminal screen to start with. Log in as root then type init 3 this will kill the display and other programs not needed then type mcc this will give you an ability to change your settings.
