olddays
I have no idea about how to use .run files. When I open them I see scripts. But I don't know what to do.. AS I told ; I am really new...
pmpatrick
There's a lot of different ways to do this depending on the ".run" file. But you usually have to make the file executable before anything will happen. Open a console and run: $ cd <path to directory with .run file> $ chmod +x <name of .run file> $ ./<name of .run file> If this is not clear, post back with the specific file you are trying to run and any questions you have about the above commands and I will go into more detail. ianw1974
Normally, with a run file I just do: sh filename.run but chmodding as above is just doing the same, as you're making it executable without having to put sh before it.
