Guest mercyful_fate Posted November 3, 2006 Report Share Posted November 3, 2006 i have a problem with installing amsn on mandriva 2007. when trying to install with the rpm package, i get "unable to register rpm file" and then "error registering local packages" messages. When trying to install from tar.gz package ./configure terminates as following: [root@localhost amsn]# ./configure checking for prefix by checking for wish... no which: no tclsh in (/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/lib/qt3//bin) expr: syntax error ./configure: line 1406: test: too many arguments checking for gcc... gcc checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out checking whether the C compiler works... yes checking whether we are cross compiling... no checking for suffix of executables... checking for suffix of object files... o checking whether we are using the GNU C compiler... yes checking whether gcc accepts -g... yes checking for gcc option to accept ANSI C... none needed checking for g++... g++ checking whether we are using the GNU C++ compiler... yes checking whether g++ accepts -g... yes checking tcl build dir... configure: error: Unable to find Tcl directory or Tcl package is not tcl-dev is there any idea what the problem can be? i cant find this tcl-dev package with package manager...
